Restaurer la couleur original de meuble / Restore original furniture color

 Avec le temps, les meubles de Barbie jaunissent ou changent de couleur. Que faire ?

Over time, Barbie's furniture turns yellow or changes color. What can we do ?

Mon armoire de Barbie des années 80 est devenue orange. On voit très bien la démarcation lorsque elle est ouverte. L'intérieur est resté rose et l'extérieur est orange.

J'ai utilisé de la crème de peroxyde 40. Attention, la supervision d'un adulte est fortement conseillé, et l'usage de gant est indispensable. Il ne faut pas que ce produit soit en contact avec la peau. J'ai appliqué le produit avec un pinceau. Une fois le produit appliqué, il faut le laisser agir minimum 4 heures de temps pour voir une différence. Certains mettent le meuble au soleil, je ne suis pas très à l'aise de l'exposer au soleil comme le matériel est fragile avec le temps il y a un risque que le matériel se fragilise d'avantage. D'autres mettent dans un sac plastifié avec fermeture pour que le meuble soit bien imbibé, l'avantage c'est que le produit sera mieux appliqué uniformément. Je dois reconnaître qu'avec le pinceau, j'ai du mal à obtenir un résultat uniforme. Par la suite il faut rincer. Vous appliquez de nouveau le produit jusqu'à l'obtention du résultat souhaité. Sur ma photo, j'ai appliqué 5 fois le produit sur une partie de l'armoire, soit 5 jours d'application. J'ai l'impression que cela va me prendre un certains temps avec cette couleur. Par contre la couleur blanche, le résultat est plus impressionnant.

I have to admit that with the brush I find it difficult to achieve a uniform result. Then you have to rinse. You can apply the product until you get the desired result. In my photo, I applied the product 5 times to part of the wardrobe, so 5 days of application. I have the impression that it will take me a long time with this color. On the other hand with the white color, the result is more impressive.
